A beautiful heavy-weight matching cream and sugar 2-piece serving set, in a simple but classic Tiffany deign, having multi-banded edges aroung the rims and on the handles. The footed sugar bowl has a swing handle and measures 2 3/4" high with the handle down and 5 1/2" with handle up; the diameter is 4 1/2" wide. The bowl is marked on the bottom Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver "m", and the numbers 16423 B on the left, 8750 on the right; etched 7/10 on the left, etched 3126 on the right. The footed cream jug measures 3 1/2" at the highest point at the spout and has a diameter of 5" wide from the handle to the spout. The marks on the bottom are Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver "m", and the numbers 18122 on the left and 8738(?) on the right; etched 5/95 on the left and 2823 on the right; and 2 Gills on the bottom. The overall condition of both pieces is wonderful...the cream jug is perfect with no dings, dent, marks of any kind, inside or outside. The sugar bowl is also near perfect , except for a few pinpoint black spots inside near the bottom which can certainly be buffed out (see photos), and a very, very small vertical knick on the banded rim about one inch away from the handle. You have to look real hard to find it; the smooth body of the bowl has no dings, dents or marks inside or outside. These pieces have the good weight of early Tiffany pieces, are very practical, and are sure to please on their own in combination with a full coffee service.
