Next up for auction is an Original Tiffany Studios Bronze Desk Lamp Base. This desk / piano lamp base is in pristine condition. It is also known as a 3 light, drop blossom base. It is quite weighty for a small desk lamp which is very typical of Tiffany`s lamp bases. The base has a wonderful acid-etched gold finish that is in absolutely superb condition. The porcelain sockets are all original as well as the switch. The base is wonderfully decorated and is in perfect working order. The base has been rewired for safety. The blossom tabs that hold the shades are excellent also. This 8 1/2 inch tall lamp can be referenced in the Duncan Book, Tiffany at Auction, on page 299 plate 945.
