This is not a reproduction. This is an original, circa 1900, signed and numbered TiffanyStudios candelabra. This is one of two Tiffany Studio candlesticks that we are selling on ebay. They have been in my collection for almost 20 years, my reserve is the price I originally paid for them, One was purchased from a major auction house and one from a well known Tiffany Lamp dealer. I guarantee them to be authentic Tiffany Studios circa 1900. This one is an early Tiffany Studios candleholder. 12 1/2" tall, base 5 1/2" diameter. The base is signed with the early Tiffany Glass and Decorating monogram and numbered 22323 Tiffany Studios New York. The base has tiffany glass jewels. No cracks or chips to jewels. The tops of candle stick has original blown glass and original bobeches (the removable piece of the candlestick that holds the candle) T are minor chips to the inside of glass that are visible only when bobeche is removed. They are not visible unless candlestick is taken apart. They are common on candleholders with blown glass, caused by careless people and tend not to devalue a Tiffany Candlestick unless chip is visible when candlestick is complete and these are not. Being an early model, originally this never had the small copper strips that help hold bobche in place with friction as do many latter tiffany candlesticks do. They're not necessary unless you hold candlestick upside down without first removing bobeches. Someone in the past has soldered strips on bottom of bobeche and tacked down the beaded top of the bobeche. They did a sloppy job of soldering, Actually, easy to remove the excess solder. I don't know anyone in Arizona with experience in this type of work. However, I do know Tiiffany Lamp people both in California and N.Y. who could inexpensively do this. As the excess solder doesn't normally show I've never sent it to anyone to have it removed. I've used this candelabra on my dining table for years. If you want the name of someone to do this type of solder removal work, email me.
