First off,some basic info.:I am 76 yrs.old and selling a lifetime of antiques.This has been in my family forever;it should be passed on to one of my 6 children,but they have little interest;I am afraid that when I die they will sell it in a garage sale??? NEXT;it is 100% guaranteed(RETURNABLE) to be an original ANTIQUE Tiffany Studios Lamp!!!!! NOT some fake or reproduction or marriage of different parts. The heavy bronze base is fully,properly signed:"TIFFANY STUDIOS,NEW YORK". The hand blown,pulled feather shade is fully,properly signed "L.C.T." All metal parts are nicely patinaed,thick,heavy bronze.The shade has a gold aurene/favrille interior that is AMAZING!!!! The original cord and switch are excellent;the cord is the old cloth wrapped type,but has NO fraying and everything works perfectly!!! NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER to anything!!! NO scratches or dings on the shade!!! THE PICTURES NO-W NEAR DO THIS JUSTICE!!!!! Total height is 11 in. I do NOT believe in hidden reserves,reserves do not seem to be in the spirit of an auction. My starting price is(I feel),a fraction of the true value!! Full insurance coverage is strongly recommended. Questions????
