You are viewing a hard to find Vintage Tiffin King's Crown Cranberry Glass 2-Tiered Tidbit Serving Tray . It stands approximately 13.25" high (to the tip of the handle) x 10.25" wide (diameter of larger bottom plate). The diameter of the top plate is approximately 8.25". This was recently found at a Boston, MA Estate. The woman who owned it told me her parents passed it down to her years ago. She wasn't sure of its exact age. I'm not an expert on this type of collectible so I did some research on it. I contacted an expert on Tiffin King's Crown Glass and she confirmed that the two plates are absolutely genuine King's Crown pieces. She wasn't sure whether the piece was sold as is by Tiffin, as a complete tidbit tray, or whether the two plates were bought separately from Tiffin and then custom-made into a tidbit tray by the owner. She did say it was fairly common for people to purchase original Tiffin items, buy hardware separately, and custom build pieces. So, this is being sold as a tidbit tray with 2 genuine Tiffin King's Crown plates, that was either manufactured as a tidbit tray by Tiffin or custom built by the owner of the plates.This tidbit tray is in great vintage condition.
