A 1930's to 1940's set of TIFFIN MINTON OPTIC gold-encrusted stemware, 22 pieces total. This group includes five wine glasses that are larger than their modern versions which might be available for replacement. The gold is in good condition but for a few scrapes and nicks as shown in the photos. There are no chips in the glasses but there are some naturally occurring bubbles within a few of the glasses. The gilding is set over an ornate floral pattern. There are lines or "panels" down the sides of the glass. The set is from an estate which had belonged to a an old family and was likely passed on as an heirloom. I hope someone out there can enjoy these beautiful glasses. Described as follows: a. 5 wine glasses, 6.5 inches tall, 3.5 in. diameter. b. 7 champagne glasses, 4.25 inches tall and 3 in. diameter. c. 10 juice glasses, each measures 4 inches tall and 2.25 in. diameter. The condition of the gold encrusted trim on the glassware is as follows: juice glasses very good. The champagne glass are in good condition, The large wine glasses are in good condition for their age. There is a 2 in. scrape on the inside rim of one wine glass which could possibly be touched up.
