For Auction is what was appraised as a "Tiger Eye Pair Phoenix Birds on Stand" The appraisal - almost 30 years ago was for $2300 - when both birds were in tact. Now, the pair is broken. The one intact is in excellent condition with the exception of a small piece of the left wing missing. T is a tag on the bottom which looks like K1-2056. The bird needs to be re-attached to the wooden stand. The broken phoenix is almost identical. It is broken w the bird sits on a branch - clean break. However, t are also a few chips and t No stand. Carving on stand is about 6 1/2" high. If the pieces are not worth their original value, could it be used for jewelry? Thanks for your interest.
