This is a beautiful antique Victorian Quartersawn Tiger Oak Pedestal Dining Table. It is solid oak with claw-and-ball feet. According to an appraiser it was made around the 1890's. It is 48" in diameter, and 30" high, and 91" long when fully extended. The pedestal splits (with a third leg inside) to allow the insertion of the leaves. The table has been well cared for and is in very good condition. T are the normal scuffs and a few scratches that you would expect of a table this age, but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty. One of the leaves appears to be a little darker than the other two when comparing them side by side. The chairs in the photo are not included in this auction and are listed separately. Please take a moment to view other beautiful oak antiques at my Ebay . Pick up is preferred, but if you would like to have it shipped, you might contact "Craters & Freighters" ) for a quote to crate and ship this item. We are located in Fallbrook, CA 92028. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. I've had a few questions that I will add to the description: The table has three leaves that expand the table to approximately 91". Two of the leaves are original, and the third one has been added at some point in time. The finish on this added leaf is a little darker than the original ones. The table has not been refinished by the current owners. (They have owned it for over 20 years.) They do not think it has been refinished, but of course they cannot be certain. The pedestal is 10" wide at the smallest point. The "collar" is 12" wide.
