Massive genuine tiger tooth pendant with beautiful natural colouring and gloss. Please see pics for scale, I've included a ruler.There are 2 hairline cracks as pictured, they run from the top of the tooth downwards, but do not quite reach the tip. The piece feels strong and sturdy, no movement along the cracks when pressure is applied either side, I think they've been there a while. I don't have much experience in this but I feel like they could be filled and disguised.As for the setting it looks to me like its silver with a brass top, but there are no marks and it hasn't been tested, so this is purely my own speculation!There is no movement in the setting, feels very strong.Questions welcome**This item pre dates the 1947 CITES Regulation, and having been worked, meaning changed from its natural form into a jewel and being Victorian c1880 is classified as an antique.
