Suzane are remarkable objects, reflecting in artistic form the traditional understanding of the universe, nature, happiness and love.This item is a very rich silk embroidery Wedding Suzani from Kulyab region of Tajikistan. It represent a masterpiece of Tajik crafts-woman. The patterns of this beautiful old textile is composed from two big Rosettes at the center which mean The groom and fiancee depicted as a flowers which symbolising the love and beauty. They are surrounded with blossoming flowers which is a symbol of eternity and long life. It is done on wine colour cotton fabric. It was hanged up over the newly married couple background in Tajik wedding ceremony. The Size is 80 x 60 inches or 200 x 150 cm, Condition is good.. It was made about 40 years ago.
