Tiki Menu - Pago Pago's Polynesian Dining, Jack's c1950 Single-fold 11" x 8 1/2" menu for Pago Pago's Polynesian Dining, at Jack's Tuscon Arizona. Front cover depicts topless Polynesian woman seated amongst what appears to be the food for a luau. Line-drawn illustration by "JBH". Back cover depicts additional line drawn illustrations of various island activities including the making of leis, hula dancing and preparing the luau. The back page is captioned JACK'S - W those merry souls who make eating a pleasure, who achieve contentment long before capacity, and who, whenever they drink, prove able to carry it, enjoy it, and remain gentlemen . Stereotypical ethnic tip-in on inside page captioned "Smack your lips over this dinner special". The outer columns of the menu are tongue-in-cheek parodies with Matched Black Pearl Cocktail, Vinaigrette for $1500.00, Virgin Mermaid on Half Shell (for One) $565.00, Neck -After 10 P.M., Swish Cheese (Whoops!), etc. The center column includes the actual menu including Hawaiian Dinners and Steaks.
