TIM MARA (1948-1997) 'BLUE SPLASH' - ONE OF THREE FROM 1980 PORTFOLIO NO 22 OF 50 Tim Mara (1948 - 1997) Nationality: British Approach: Printmaking Tim Mara worked in printmaking for 25 years. He taught in art schools alongside his practice as an artist for almost the whole period. He regarded teaching as a reciprocal element of his work. He felt particularly priveleged to work with postgraduate students at the Royal College of Art where ideas changed very fast and always reflected the spirit of the time. His own experience as an artist is part of the basis that informed his teaching.
