I'm selling a really nice tin friction early 50's Buick convertible made by an unknown Japanese maker. There is no maker's mark on the car; it has Japan stamped into the base and that is the only identifying mark. It does have some similarity to a Buick that I know was made by Alps but that is just a guess... The car measures 8 3/4 inches or a little over 22 centimeters long and it is complete and all original. It is in excellent, lightly played with condition. The paint is very vivid and bright and it has very few flaws, just a few small chips and scratches in the paint. The chrome trim has been polished to a very nice shine. The tires and hubcaps are in excellent condition and the friction motor works very well. The car is really a very nice version of an early fifties Buick. (I have a police version of this car that I will put on line on Tuesday.) Thanks for looking!!!Questions are welcome and I will be happy to provide additional photos. Shipping will be 8.50 in the U.S.; overseas shipping will vary by country and method of shipping. I am always happy to combine shipping. Paypal is preferred for payment and within 3 days of end of auction, please. Thanks!!
