Tintype FAMILY AND THEIR DOG AND CAT Description Up for bids is an @ 1860's of a FAMILY AND THEIR DOG AND CAT. There are 6 family members and 1 dog at their feet, plus an adorable cat on Mom's lap. The one child has his hand on the cat as well. (thank you robert) This is a sweet tintype! The man and his family are posing for a family portrait, and had to include their dog and cat! I can't say if they are inside or out...it looks inside but then again I think that's grass (?) under their feet. This tintype is in fair shape. It does have some condition issues, some processing flaws, but in no way does this detract from the overall image. With all items of this age you should expect that it may have some wear, tear, scratches and slight bends. The tintype is @ 2 1/2" x @ 3 1/4".
