William Jennings Bryan (1860-1925) was a Congressman from Nebraska, three-time presidential candidate (1896, 1900, and 1908 ). A very rare political image in tintype of the presidential campaign of 1896. William Jennings Bryan and his vice presidential running mate Arthur Sewall. The image has obviously been trimmed sometime in the past due to damage or whatever reason. T is a small amount of rust on the lower right edge(see photo) , but not very serious at all. The image itself is in pretty good shape. T are a few slight bends in the tintype due to age and overall wear and tear but also nothing serious. The image seems to be in reverse as you can see the name of Bryan reversed on the bottom of his photo. These kind of images on tintype are very rare and hard to find in any condition. This is being sold with no reserve. International bidders please contact me for shipping charges.
