Up for auction is a tiny brass and glass water column for a scale steam engine or scale hit & miss engine or ???. It is solid brass with a glass tube to view water level. It has three ( 3 ) tiny square head nuts on the back part to drain water? There are no markings on it as to who made it. All valve handles move smoothly and all threaded nipples appear to be in great shape. The glass tube is not broken. The back side threaded nipple is 1/8" MIP. The other nipple dimensions I haven't a clue since they are so small. This whole thing measures only 5" long x 2 5/8" deep x 7/8" thick. It's a tiny work of art in great condition !!! Somebody spent alot of time making it that's for sure. That's all I know about it. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos but my camera is pretty bad. I'm no expert in this field so please look at the photos and decide condition and application for yourself. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions. So far, we have found boxes marked with parts for the following automobiles: Apperson, read more
