This toy kettle is just charming. The condition is excellent. I would doubt that it ever held water, judging by the perfect condition of the interior. The sides are sort of paneled and the slightly domed top, with original white porcelain knob moves easily. The handle is in perfect condition. The bottom is clearly marked, "No. 0 - Colonial Design - Griswold - Cast Iron - Erie, PA, U.S.A. - 576". The surface is excellent, and no rust to be seen. This is a wonderful, little kettle from the late 19 th to early 20 th century, I should think. The height of the kettle, with the handle upright is about 5 ½ inches. The height to the top of the spout is 3 ¼ inches. The length of the whole pot, including spout is 6 inches.
