This is an original photographic tissue* stereoview looking along the road and showing the frontage to the exhibition building, Palais de l'Industrie, in the Chaps Eysee area of Paris, France. Lights are illuminated when held to light. 3D is good, tinting is quite good. * Tissue stereoviews have several layers of tissue - the front one is a photographic print, often another is tinted to match the image, and when they held towards strong light the make the image look coloured. Photographer: Not identified. Date: Not dated, likely from about the 1870's or 1880's. Mount measures about 7" x 3.45". The Scan has been enlarged to show detail. Flat mount - Dark Yellow embossed front and paler yellow back. Condition: Small piece out of the back tissue layer which is seen in the sky when held to light, otherwise good, reasonable plus condition overall.
