TITANIC 'a la carte' Restaurant 5 Petal Tray RMS TITANIC was heralded as the greatest liner ever built, so obviously it had to have the very best china in it's 'a la carte' restaurant. They chose Royal Crown Derby, makers of the world's finest and most expensive bone china since 1750. This pattern was selected by the White Star Line from Royal Crown Derby's pattern books 100 years ago and consists of a band of encrusted gold work with painted ornament of Chaplet and Festoons in the style of Louis XVI, delicately finished in tints of green and has the OSNC (Oceanic Steam Navigation Company) logo in the centre of the tray. Without doubt, this is the most beautiful china ever to grace an ocean liner! This 5 petal dish would be used to dispense olives, or similar petit fours and is simply stunning! In brand new condition and is backstamped with the Royal Crown Derby logo and comes in a high quality gift box. It is accompanied by a reproduction of the original promotional brochure, which alone is highly collectable.
