TITANIC large thirteen inch Brass bell w/ wall mount This is a solid brass ship's bell with a large size and a large sound; 9.5" wide across the mouth. The bell itself stands another 9.5" tall, with a total height of 13.5 inches including height from the wall mount when mounted. It is of a heavy enough gauge of brass both, to be able to be used both indoor or out. The brass is uncoated and will gain a lovely patina over time. If this patina is unwanted, a simple polish will bring it's shine back. The clapper is also made of solid brass with a beautifully knotted rope bell pull attached to it. This is "real" heavy ships bell, not a toy replica.The bell has a slightly rounded top edge. 'TITANIC' is etched into the front of the bell and the lettering enameled in black. Simple pinstripes accentuate the outward curving of the bell, pulling together the strong sharp curve at the top and the softer curve of the bottom of the bell.This beautiful bell is new, with no problems. Please note that the clapper is shipped unattached to protect the bell from unneccessary stresses during shipping and needs to be attached upon receipt.
