Offered are several scrapbooks kept by Joseph Zupicich who was a crewman on the RMS Carpathia, which aided the survivors of the sinking of the Titanic. Mr. Zupicich, an Austrian national was a 19-year-old steward on the Carpathia. He later emigrated to the US and settled in Shamokin, PA. The more than 30 newspaper clippings are from the 1970s and 1980s and contain interviews done by various newspapers. Included in the lot is a postcard of painting of the ship inscribed to Zupicich. It is autographed by Frank J Goldsmith, a survivor of the sinking. Also included are three copies of the Titanic Commutator. These have stories that relate to the Carpathia's role in the rescue.
