This Auction is for a set of Titleist 704 CB irons 4-9 and a customized Vokey 248-06. The irons have plenty of bag chatter and nicks/dings in the sole, but they are in good shape and very playable. Grooves have plenty of game left. The shafts are stock Nippon stiff flex steel. The shaft bands have been removed and new golf pride tour velvet grips installed. Lie angle has been professionally adjusted 2 degrees flat from titleist stock dimensions. The pitching wedge that goes long with this set is a vokey 48 degree model that came fron the Nomad tour van custom shop. It has been ported, sole gound, and given the extra sharp square groove treatment. Stiff shaft and sharpro grip in great shape. This club produces gobs of backspin and comes with the nickname "chewface" due to its affinity for urethane golf ball covers. The wedge has been used for about half a season and I bought it from the Nomad custom shop via Ebay. I hit it few steps shorter than a regular PW. The lie angle on this club is standard and the irons are 2 degrees flat, but the set flows nicely and I played this setup without issue. Unfortunately I have my eyes on some of the new stuff and these gotta go. If you are someone who makes alot of spin already you may find the grooves on the vokey a bit extreme, but if your are looking for bite then this is the ticket. Overall read more
