Titleist Scotty Cameron Button Back Newport putter, gently used, with a trip to the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop. Standard loft and lie. Included is the original shaft with leather stitch-back grip and leather head cover. The shaft was pulled when the putter was new and the shaft and head cover were put away. Scotty's Custom Shop re-shafted the putter at 34.5" which gives it a tad more swing weight over the standard 34". The paint fill around the buttons was changed to translucent green and translucent purple as you can see in photo #3. The vertical "SCOTTY" on the back of the hosel was changed to translucent blue paint fill. A sight dot was added on the top line right above the sweet spot in black paint fill, and a 4-leaf clover was added on the toe of the face, also in translucent green paint fill. The "spa" also added a speed shop purple shaft band on the shaft, and it could probably use replacing. It's crinkled down the length of the band toward the bottom. The putter has been very carefully played, always kept in a head cover, and shows the normal signs on use on the sole and face insert from contact with greens and golf balls. I could only find one very very tiny ding on the head, and it's not visible in the pictures, but it's on the top line, front edge about 3/4 way out toward the toe. You really have to look for it, and you can't see it at address. I could only put 12 pictures on here, so if you want to see the head cover or any of these in higher resolution, send me a message with your email address. I'll be happy to oblige.
Before you start slamming me with "man you shouldn't have altered it" messages, just know that I had every intention of putting with this thing for the rest of my life. I sent it to the spa to personalize it the way I wanted it. I almost had them stamp my name on the back flange! Everything except the sight dot is easily reversible, but honestly it really helped me line it up to ensure solid contact. It is one of the sweetest putters I've ever rolled a ball with, but extenuating circumstances dictate that it must now find a new home. I hope it goes to someone who will play it rather than lock it away or hang it on a wall. The button backs should be admired, yes, but admired on a GOLF COURSE. It's a shame that the limited nature of these has driven the value up so high with collectors that a lot of people don't play them. You don't have worry about that with this one. US only bidders please, PayPal is accepted/preferred. Shipping and handling will be $15 for USPS Priority long box, insured, but if you want it there faster we can work something out. I will do everything in my power ship it within one business day of receiving payment, but I guarantee no more than two. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. There is no reserve price, and you can open with a penny. Good luck Jeff
