Up for auction is an antique fencing tool. This one is a FENCE REPAIR TOOL patented by Fred A. Buswell on Dec. 5, 1916. This information was found in the ID book by Smith & Smith. Measures 10 inches long and 6 inches across. In working order with no breaks or repairs that I see. Still has some original blue paint on it. It is in "as found" condition, so expect the original rust and dust. Once cleaned, it would make a nice addition to your wire tool collection or a neat conversation piece in the antique room. If you have the tool book by Smith & Smith, it is number 712. A low starting price for a good tool. If you have questions, please ask early. I encourage insurance, but your option.
