Todros Geller was a Ukrainian-born artist who settled in Chicago in 1918 and became known as the "Dean of Chicago's Jewish Artists." He was probably best known for his woodcut prints like this this one. You can find more information about the artist here . The print depicts a man walking through a mountain pass with a goat and walking stick. A small village is visible in the background. The print is attached to a piece of paper which bears the title, in both English and Hebrew, and Geller's signature. Both the print and the paper that it is attached to have yellowed with age and there is some noticeable discoloration around the edges of the paper. There is also what appears to adhesive residue on both parts, and the print is no longer attached to the paper. Nevertheless this is still a beautiful piece and a fine example of Geller's work. The print itself measures 6 x 8 inches. The overall size is 11 x 14.5 inches. Please look at all photos carefully before bidding.
