We have over 100 authentic used Japanese glass fishing floats in our ebay store: SEASHORE COLLECTIONS Glass Floats *click on ebay store icon (red door icon located by our ebay name)* NETTED TOHOKU "FATTY" with hemp sisal Japanese Glass Ball ROLLING PIN Fishing Float This float was found on the beach i live on in Westport, WA. This TOHOKU rolling pin float is also called a "FATTY". It measures approx. 6" in length. This roller was used as working Japanese fishing float. It is in good beachcombed condition with the normal wear of working fishing floats that have spent their life at sea. It is made with heavy thick glass with impurities, inclusions and bubbles from the old Japanese manufacturing technique. The integrity of this float is very sound. T are no cracks or chips in this rolling pin with the exception of the inevitable chips on the seal button edge.The material on the net is made from natural fiber. The rope attached is made of hemp, sisal material. The net is intact with no tears.It is very unusual to find these netted rolling pins. Own one of these netted rollers for your collection.
