* * * * * MEET ME AT THE TIKI HUT * * * * * The auction you are viewing is for a really fine three arm Italian tole chandelier in the popular faux bamboo designer style. This is an oldie! It is probably from around the 1940's. I found it at a local beach estate sale and fell in love. It is so perfect for any tropical decor or one with an asian influence. It is so delightful! (No pun intended!) This petite little cutie stands 18" High X about 12" Wide. It is just the right size for just about any spot you can envision. I cannot tell for sure if the paint is original, but I find it perfectly charming and chippy. I wouldn't change a thing. It may have been painted at some time in the past, as the wiring indicates some paint residue. Anyway, it is just the coolest piece I have listed in some time. When I purchased it, it did not have any candle covers, so I added the tan drip look ones and I have included wonderful beaded bulb covers in an amber shade. (They are not vintage, but high quality faceted lead crystal.) WOW! It is a darling! The wiring should be checked by your electrician, as this is an old piece and it is important for safety sake.
