2000 Bowman ROY Redemption RC PSA 10 GEM MINT and BGS 9.5 GEM MINT (Twice graded) One of one! The only PSA 10 GEM MINT! The next closest is a PSA 7! If that's not enough, I had the card reviewed by Beckett at the San Fran show, and they graded it a BGS 9.5 GEM MINT as well. Further, only one BGS 9.5 GEM MINT exists. If you win this card and want it in a BGS holder--it actually looks PRISTINE--simply send it in to Beckett and pay for the slabbing; the card has already been graded, and conservatively at that. Arguably Brady's rarest RC, this extremely rare and attractive card was produced and inserted into packs of 2000 Bowman as a special promotion. For each of the 75 rookie subjects from the 2000 Bowman issue, 250 promotional cards were randomly inserted into packs. Cards are differentiated from the normal issue by a large gold "Bowman Rookie of the Year Promotion" stamp on the front. Backs contain important contest information, explaining that if the player on the front of the card won either the Offensive or Defensive Rookie of the Year award, then the owner of the card would receive a 25-card sequentially numbered set of the Bowman All-Rookie Team. Now, the reason Brady's card is so extremely rare is because, if you recall, Brady was a nobody in 2000. He played in only one game and had one completion in three tries for a whopping six yards. Mike Anderson of Denver actually won the award. Point is, after the contest ended, most collectors probably trashed their redemption cards of Brady. As such, this particular card is the only GEM MINT 10 to surface at both PSA and BGS; the next closest is a PSA 7. This is a bona fide rarity and one of my personal favorites.
