Howdy Pards! What can I say about this wonderful Novelty Knife? It is one of the most unusual knives I have ever seen! It was made by Taylor Cutlery Company, and while researching this knife I spoke to a wonderful lady named Cisco at "Taylor Brands" which is now what Taylors has become. She was so intrigued about this knife that she put me on hold while she asked Mr.Taylor about it! He didn't remember when they made them, but he did remember that they were made as a limited run (only 5,000) for a company that sold Caskets! Probably a premium for Funeral Directors. I also found out that Mr. Taylor started his company in a small shed back in 1976 and have since grown into a major knife manufacturering Institution! This one one of his earlier items i'm sure! I would like to thank Cisco at Taylor Brands for this info! She was extremely helpfull! This Knife is sold "As New" and in Mint Condition! it has no signs that it was ever carried nor sharpened! the blade snaps open and closed briskly! Although my research has not yet found a Casket company ever located in Tombstone, Folks love to put "Tombstone" on Items do to it's Old West History! But! I do however Guarantee that it is in Tombstone Arizona Now! This knife closed measures; 3" long X 1 1/2" at the widest point Opne it measures; 5 1/2" long with a blade of 2 3/8" long. Please note: Pic with green background is of a duplicate knife, shown only to enable you to see the details (better Picture) LOW OPENING AND MODEST RESERVE FOR THIS HIGHLY UNUSUAL AND COLLECTABLE KNIFE!
