As you can see from the photo, this is the ORIGINAL 1969 TOMMY double LP with laminated album cover & numbered booklet . The cover is unusually in excellent condition (with no tears, breaks in the laminate, & only light corner wear on the outside - from shelving, & with only minimal creasing anywhere + light wear to the outside folding of the album) - I think you can get a good idea of all this from the photo. The insides are pristine. The numbered booklet (51078) is in excellent condition - it is entire & has no tears, creases, etc - tho' there is a little browning on the front page, which prevents me from describing it as Near Mint. The vinyl I describe as Excellent tho' this is an average. Sides 2, 3 & 4 look faultless & play pretty much perfectly, deserving to be called Near Mint . Side 1 has 2 faults (tho' otherwise it matches the others) - 1) a long scuff that extends across the entire side & sounds slightly in the quieter passages (God knows how it got there or what caused it! - I bought this album used a long time ago), & 2) a dirty patch in the "Sparks" section of the long, mainly instrumental track - it produces a slight Shhhh sound for, say, a minute-&-a-half.
