Tommy John 1988 New York Yankees Baseball Contract Signed A.L with Extra Bonus Tommy John is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball whose 288 career victories rank as the seventh highest total among left-handers in major league history. He is also known for the revolutionary surgery, now named after him, which was performed on a damaged ligament in his pitching arm. He had a lifetime ERA of 3.34, was a 4 time All-Star, and played in 3 World Series for the 1977 and 1978 Dodgers and for the Yankees in the 1981 World Series. This is his personal American League 1988 Yankees contract signed twice by John, twice by Bob Quinn, and once by Bobby Brown (proxy signed by Bob O. Fishel). Comes with 2 letters on Yankees letterhead – one signed Bob (Quinn) enclosing his contract and unsigned contract addendum and one signed Lou Pinella (GM) with Billy Martins (manager) Yankees rules (these rules are hysterical).
