Tomy Little Van Goes Fashion Plate Set Rub Tiles w/box This auction is for a Tomy Fashion Plate style set called Little Van Goes. This is the complete set. It comes with twelve plates to design your own van. This set also includes 2 crayons to create the van rubbings and the handle to hold the crayon. Of course, the base with removable storage drawer is also included and it’s all in the original box! The box shows some light wear, but the set looks nearly unused. The holder measures 6 ½" x 4".If you’re not familiar with fashion plates, ’s how it works: T are several plates (in this case 12) which have raised designs on both sides. The designs are the front, middle and back of a van. You mix and match the plates to customize your own design of a van. Then, you take a plain piece of paper and place it in the holder over the plates. You then take the crayon and rub it over the paper and voila! You have made a rubbing of your custom van design. The design created by the rubbing can then be colored in with colored pencils (not included with the set or this auction) to further customize it.
