This auction is for a Tonka Yellow Back Hoe Truck , generic cab from the early-mid 1960's. This truck is in very good overall condition, apparently played with very little and probably not at all outdoors, half of seat is faded and the other half is bright red, due to sitting on a shelf about 20 years. Everything appears original and complete, very little paint loss and nearly 50 years old. I have several other Tonka auctions running at this time. I know that my son and grandson frequented yard sales, consignment shops and shows looking for and buying these Tonkas, but I am no Tonka scientist and will do my best to try and answer all questions. Against my better judgement, my son has requested I start this auction with a lower price... for a true auction!Recently, my son asked me to list and sell some of his and my grandson's toys. My grandson was killed in an accident in early 2002 and these toys have been carefully stored the past 11+ years. My son has decided to go ahead and part with them so I will be helping him sell them on ebay.
