Offered here is the child version of Tonner's club doll Jane. She is a later version,with rooted hair,not wigged like the earlier one. She also has the jointed knees that Tonner came out with in the mid 2000's. The jumper outfit that she is wearing is a Tonner outfit,but I do not remember if she came in this outfit or if I bought it separately. It is a lilac color with a striped t-shirt and matching tights.She is wearing pink suede like mary jane shoes. Her red hair is thick and full,much more so than the wigged one,and the hair has a nicer texture than the wigged one in my opinion.(Some of the Tonner dolls seem to have hair that is almost stringy or greasy feel to it) She has a very sweet expression too. I do not have her original box or any certificate that may have come with her. She is the same size as the 14in Betsy Mccall that Tonner did and can share outfits with her. She is similar in size to the Effner Little Darlings also,and would make a good friend to those dolls. Jane would be a nice doll for a young collector,or as an addition to any play doll collection or a Tonner collection. I do not have her original box,but I will pack her carefully for travel to her new home.
