I have several pieces of this beautiful blue and white transfer pattern by Clarice Cliff. This is for 2 Dinner plates. They are about 9.75 inches across and across. and about .75 inches high. On the back they say "TONQUIN" Royal Staffordshire Dinner ware by Clarice Cliff, Made in England. They are a lovely blue and white transfer-ware pattern. They are in good shape. T is a fair amount of light scratches on the center of both plates that only show if you tilt them in just the right light. On the back the kiln marks are t but are a grayish color. T are some mystery spots also, that I am not sure about, but I think it has more to do with the age of the plates and I think they are from wear, either being used a lot or just stacked one on top of the other. T are no chips or any think else that I could see. I think they are lovely. If you have any questions or want more pictures please let me know. Thanks for looking.
