Top LSQ Traditional Western Pleasure Saddle Set
This is one of the most original, high quality western pleasure sets that I've ever seen. I've only shown it once in a huge class, and since I'm a hunter/jumper person... I did the mecate reins all wrong and didn't pin. Since then, this has been stored in a dust-free environment. It deserves a home w it can get out t and show with a top performance model, because it truly is breathtaking!
The set comes with saddle, matching saddle pad, and a hackamore. So it's perfect for your younger looking stock models. I am by no means a western expert, but have lots of pictures as well as my best descriptions to explain the set.
It is done in light tan oil with a navy, blue, and silver color scheme.
Hackamore
The mecate reins are braided in blue and white string to match the color scheme. T are two silver conchos on each side of the headstall. It also has braided rawhide, braided string accents, and horse hair tassles. Not adjustable, but fits the traditional stock horses I have tried it on.
The breastplate
Buckles are silver with silver keepers and silver ends to theleather. Small silver conchos, braided blue and white accents, and a horse hair tassle on the front.
The saddle
Tons of silver on this saddle, as well as a ton of other details. Corners have silver with blue beads ont op to keep on top of the color scheme. Also horse hair tassels, a blue suede seat, tooling around the edges, adn cutouts ont eh leather to reveal a blue pattern underneath. The cinch is hand woven in white thread with blue accents. Buckles work great!
Saddlepad
Hand-woven in white, blue, and navy/silver wide varying stripes. Has a leather detail with hrose hair tassles adn beadwork to match the pattern in a diamond shape.
I think the pictures say it best! The reserve is $100 and much less than I believe this saddle is worth, but it has been a while since I've priced tack in the hobby.
If you have any further questions about this auction please feel free to e-mail me.
--- Reserve is $150.00, not $100 as previously stated. Sorry, my mistake!
