VINTAGE "TOPPING TYPE" NORTH AMERICAN F-100 SUPER SABRE COMPANY PRODUCTION DESK MODEL IN ORIGINAL BOX. This model is "new old stock", complete and still in the original packaging and box. The F-100 features U.S. Air Force decals and is complete with stand. The plane is made of hard plastic & measures 12 1/2 inches long with a 10 inch wingspan. The model is in super excellent condition with the exception of a defect to the decals. The U.S. Air Force decals on the sides of the fuselage are damaged. Portions of the decals had slid off the fuselage and are stuck under the wings and to the inside of the box. I can only imagine that this was a defect when the model left the factory. The outer box shows some age and storage wear. I carefully removed the model from the box to take the photos, probably the first time it was ever removed. The model fits back in the box with the original packaging the same exact way, you will receive the model in the box as found. PLEASE NOTE: Topping was only used as a keyword in the title, this model was manufactured by the Orvis Plastic Company.
