You are viewing a very SCARCE set of Limited Edition Topps Wacky Packages Pewter Pins . The set is #12/30 . It features the rare GADZOOKA VARIATION . Only two Gadzooka Teacher pins were made with beautiful silver pearl enameling for her hair. This was one of my "keeper" sets, but I've decided to make it available to collectors. The pins shown in the photos are the actual pins you will receive. They were designed by Talented ANS Wacky Packages Artist NEIL CAMERA & feature the GADZOOKA TEACHER, the AJERX GUY and the WACKY PACKAGES LOGO! The pins were cast in Solid Lead-Free Pewter by Nationally Recognized Sculptors DAVID & MARK STEPPER . I am one of the trio (David) who developed these hand-made, high quality pins. As long time wacky collectors, this project was a labor of love for Neil, Mark and me. We collaborated on this project over the course of several months and presented the pins to Topps' Executives. Only 30 sets of pins were produced off the mold. These are the ONLY sets that will ever be produced . The pins were created as high quality Prototypes for Topps. The actual Wacky Pins to be marketed to the public would feature classic & ANS characters, and be produced in a less expensive material (plastic, acrylic, etc.) . These beautiful limited edition sets are engraved with the artists' names "CAMERA-STEPPER" and numbered 1 - 30. A substantial number of the 30 total sets were sent to the Executives at Topps. The three Artists involved held onto a few sets and some have been auctioned off on ebay.
This may be your last opportunity to own one of these pin sets...and this one is a special one! The pins are hand-cast in solid Lead-Free pewter and meticulously hand-finished. They have been hand-enameled with the following vibrant colors: Green, Orange Pearl, White, Silver Pearl and Black. Gadzooka Teacher's Gold earring is hand-painted. We produced a few enamel color variations for the Ajerx Guy's hair and Wacky Packages logo to show Topps possible color options. This particular set features a cool medium green for the WP logo, and a funky pearly orange for the Ajerx guy's hair. As stated above, Gadzooka Teacher's hair is one of two with the nice silver pearl enameling. These pins have a very upscale look and are substantial in weight .
