Upfor your consideration is an English-made Devonshire motto ware terracotta small cup or shot glass. It is unsigned. The motto is a phrase from the Devonshire dialect, I believe. It reads “Dawnt'ee vall bevore yu'm pushed.” It might mean "Don't fall until you're pushed????" The cup/shot glass has some crazing, and there is an area along the bottom edge that looks like it has some errant glaze on it or something (see picture). The cup is decorated in a “Scandy” pattern. It measures 3 9/16” tall and 2 9/16” at the rim. 8888888888 I ship worldwide and at the lowest possible cost while still making sure the item is securely packed.
