These beautifully detailed hand painted Toshikane Arita seahorse screw-back earrings are sure to make you smile. They are just so cute! You can see the detail of the scales and belly markings up close in person that I wasn't able to capture in the photos. The lovely blue shades are carefully highlighted with gold toned paint. Marked with Japanese symbol and the word Japan. Condition - absolutely no issues, either on the surface or the earrings themselves. The earring finding on one of them can be carefully swiveled to the side (and, of course, back again) to show the signature marking more clearly. Size - tiny little guys, measure just under an inch long and about 5/8 of an inch across. Metal backing - is silver toned, I don't know what kind of metal it is, but I do know it's in very nice shiny condition with no evidence of corrosion or damage. Findings - note that these are screw-back earrings (not clip and not pierced). The screw-back findings are in good working condition.
