A tough to find narrow skirt variant of the H.G.Co. Petticoat Beehives. The color is aqua, it is embossed on the dome with [Letter] A, on the front skirt is H.G.CO. and on the rear skirt PETTICOAT. The line you see on the front that goes from the center of the dome down into the wire groove is a straw or mold line not a crack or scratch. These are refered to by many H.G.Co. Petticoat collectors as the Straight Side and are much more difficult to locate. I took a couple photos of it next to the blue Petticoat which is in another auction so you can see the base size difference and the flared skirt in comparison to the narrow skirt, (see photos seven and eight). There is a factory defect on the right side just above the wire groove (See photo number four) it looks like it was caused by touching and pulling away from another Insulator or piece of glass while it was still hot because there is some glass missing and a little raised excess glass on the edge. There is two small clean chips on the base of the inner skirt the largest being 1/4 inch and a couple small scrathces on the surface, these things are minor. This hard to find Insulator is very near factory Mint! I do not sell Altered, Fake, Repaired or Reproduction Insulators. Thanks for looking and please be sure to check out my other auctions.
