1835 TOWER BRITISH MILITARY FLINTLOCK - LOCK

This is an original lockplate from an early British Musket. It is an original, and was probably never on a rifle. 1835 Tower British military for a flintlock. This is the best lock you will find available. It is casehardened and has its original colors. The markings are engraved not stamped. The lockplate is 5.5 inches long. It has a sliding safety and internal frizzen spring. It is marked 1835 TOWER W R with a Crown. The frizzen appears like it was never struck by a flint. The auction is starting low and this lock will sell. Do not wait to bid. You will never find another of this quality. T is no rust or damage, and most of the original finish is t Guaranteed original. The pictures do not do it justice. Inspector markings on internal parts.
