The latest, and most spectacular post 9-11 replica of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center from a terrific New York company, this USA made gem measures 14" tall on a base that is 3" by 5". Cast in pewter colored resin and resting on a lucite base that looks like marble, the towers are arguably one of the finest miniatures of the WTC made to date. Base is marked WORLD TRADE CENTER on one side and September -11 -2001 on the other. One face of the tower with the antenna is modeled to depict an American Flag, an imaging evoking that of the flag draped over one of the neighboring buildings at ground zero. This is the latest release from the same company that makes the other WTC replicas that I list weekly. Take a close look at picture 3 where I have zoomed in on the incredible detailing of the base of the towers themselves.
