Up for auction is a 46 piece set of Towle Old Lace Sterling Silver flatware. The set belonged to my mother and was purchased at a jewelry store in Mansfield, Ohio. The pieces do not contain any engravings and show normal signs of use. T are 8 place settings plus additional pieces (see below). The set has not been used in at least 25 years and needs to be polished, which I will leave to the purchaser. The flatware cloth holders have a label that reads "CW Jelliff and Son, Hallmark Jewelers, Mansfield, Ohio". The pieces are labeled with either "sterling PAT. Old Lace" or "Towle Sterling Old Lace". Set Includes: - 8 spoons - 8 soup spoons - 8 knives- with stainless steel blades - 8 dinner forks - 8 salad forks - 1 ladle - 1 butter knife - 1 sugar spoon?- not sure what it is used for - 3 serving spoons
