You are bidding on the pictured Towle Sterling Flatware-French Provincial-24 pieces. 6knives-6forks-6spoons-2salad forks-"still in protective bag" 1 gravy ladle spoon-1 serving spoon-1 butter knife-"in protective cover" 1 mellon spoon? "in protective cover" not sure as to the name of this spoon.This preowned silverware has a few light scratch marks on some of the pieces, some look to have never been used, but all need to be cleaned , but will leave that to the new owner. The Marshall-White flatware case looks to be made of a celluloid material, measures inside about 16 1/2in. by 11 1/4in. Lid has knife holder,bottom has 11 silverware holders, and divider tray. It is lined with Pacific Silver Cloth. Prevents Tarnish. Has Good Housekeeping Seal. " Estate" Chest of Distinction. The Marshall-White Co. Chicago. Inside is in very good condition. One small chip on inside lip of lid-3/8in. wide," picture of chip", not noticeable until lid is completely open. One small dent or crack on face of lid. "picture also" otherwise in very good condition. Nice old silverware case, I believe it probably dates back into the 40's, not sure as to exact date. Buyer to add 20.00 shipping and handling and insurance.
