This is my 1982 Trabant P601. I am located close to Norwich city centre. I have owned this car since 2008 and it's the 7th Trabant I have owned. It's a very original car with just 46k on the clock. Starts first time and runs beautifully. Just passed the MOT with no advisories and is taxed for nearly 6 Months. I have used it very reguarly for daily use and classic vehicle shows. Drives very well. Petrol/oil mix is roughly 250ml 2 stroke oil to every £10 of petrol. No fuel guage - you get a dip stick! I have all original German registration document and number plates as well as workshop manual and 1982 brochure! The colour is original caramel beige but the previous keeper added a white roof. Normally the 2 tone is for deluxe models. The interior is beautiful with no tears or splits to the upholstery. Being an 1982 it has the thin boomerang steering wheel. Originally cars up to @1984 were 6 volt electrics. This I have changed to full 12v system with added alternator. A stickler for servicing this car has in my custody been very well cared for. It's not in mint condition. It has bumps and marks here and there, but is very respectable.
