You are bidding on a Victorian scrapbook album of over 50 tradecards from the 1880's and 1890's. Many are loose and never glued in the album. These chromolithograph die cut advertising trade cards are advertising coffee, sewing machines, toilet soap, animals, thread, cologne, hatters, cleanser, dresses, sarsaparilla, organs, pianos, cough medicine, hair tonic, and much more. These were put in a coupon book, which was very common at the time, instead of a regular scrapbook. The subject matter of the various trade cards includes the Ohio Centennial (1878-1888) 2 different cards, a Hood's Sarsaparilla calendar top (1893), fishing comedy, "blacks," dogs, badmitton, croquet, and much more. The front cover and several pages are detached. Click on "Larger Picture" to get a better look. A starting bid of $24.99 and shipping/handling is $4.00. Payment is expected within 7 days of close of auction. Please check out my other auctions, especially the drag racing items, SCCA, Grand Prix Formula One, Can-Am, Trans-Am, USAC, Quarter Midgets, road racing, USRRC, Indy car, other forms of motorsports, 75 year old movie magazines and more.
