Japanese Koinobori Vintage 'Carp Streamer' - 4 Metres Long -Nylon -Vintage but brand new This is about 40 years old and dates from the 1970s or so. They are traditionally flown outside Japanese homes from April to early May in honour of sons and in hope they grown up healthy and strong. The picture shows a koinobori being flown to give you an idea of what one looks look when unfurled (the colours of the one on auction are different from the picture). I have only taken a picture in its folded state as it is near impossible to fold back again. I am selling out of these and have only three left.
