This is a brand new hand held "old style" traditional Native American bead loom. Hand made of wood, with complete instructions with pictures to assemble thread. It is approx. 14 inches long and 5.5 inches wide when assembled. It is one of the most primitive, yet effective, style bead looms available. Produce smoother, more even beadwork, from the shortest pieces to headbands, legging strips, belts of any length, bracelets and more, all on this hand held loom. The width of your project can be 5 inches at least. Nemo thread is the best to use. The thread, rabbit fur and beadwork are NOT included. This beadwork is done with ought (0) nemo thread and size 11 glass beads. Any size seed bead can be used. Size 12 bead needle is good, however you only need a needle one size smaller than bead size. Longer dowels may be added for really long pieces. Two bead patterns are included. Loom is made by a part Choctaw Indian friend (with no number) who believes in the traditional ways. T are no notches for thread. This is traditional and makes it easy to add more threads for width. Thread is secure and has precise instructions.
