This auction is for a beautiful beaded cone shaped leather container. It measures 8 3/4 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches across at the top. The beadwork colors are turquoise, black, green, red and white. I'm sure this was made in this shape for a purpose and that this item has a name other than a pouch. It comes from a large collection of Native American Art and Artifacts of a deceased collector who began collecting in the early 1960's and lived and taught school in Alaska for many years before retiring home.
